Studying the solar system

Springtime in Texas again. Davy is doing well. He likes school and is on the A-B honor roll. He has also run over twenty accumulative miles in PE class.

Everything is blooming and budding on the farm. I've been busy planting haygrazer and working on the pecan trees. I had to order a new solar pump the water the trees. These pumps don't seem to work vary long. About two years seems to be the limit.

I'll start grafting next week to try and get better variety pecans on some of the trees. I saved the grafting wood back in February to use for these new grafts.

We had a new calf last week. The two year old heifer named Flea had the first calf of the year. I didn't even know she was that close to freshening.
